Toquinho

Antonio Pecci Filho, called Toquinho by his mother, is a Brazilian singer and guitarist born in São Paulo, Brazil on July 6, 1946. He is also very known because of his collaborations, as composer and performer, with Vinicius de Moraes.

Toquinho began his career in the 1960s by performing on shows at the famous Paramount theater in São Paulo. The first recorded song that he composed was "Lua Cheia", sang with Chico Buarque, but his first hit was composed in 1970 with Jorge Benjor and named "Que Maravilha". After collaborating with Vinicius de Moraes for 11 years and with other talented musicians like Paulinho da Viola, Danilo Caymmi or Paulinho Nogueira, Toquinho pursued a solo career.
